Chennai Super Kings

CSk has decided to not make any changes at its side from the team that made it won the IPL title back in 2018. Only two new players including Mohit Sharma and Ruturaj Gaekward have been added to the team. Mohit Sharma has had the experience of playing in the team before, and he was selected in the international team after his performance here. Since then we have seen him regressed and at present, he is not in the first rung list of fast bowlers in the Indian cricket team. The pitch at the stadium is quite in an excellent state, and the crowd support is for the home side for sure. It is expected that the stadium will be jam-packed for this first match of Chennai super kings as well as Indian Premier league.

Royal Challengers Bangalore

The team ended up on the sixth position in the IPL 2018 and was holding one of the lopsided sides of the competition. The batting line up of the team was undoubtedly top heavy, but they did not have any established batsman on the opening spot. The bowling of this team was for sure the most expensive one among all of the teams present in the IPL. But still, they ended up losing most of the matches. The team went into the auction with a view of addressing some of the weak points. The team still do not have any good opening batsman, but now they do have a more balanced batting line up as compared to the scenarios of last year.
